For many years the Decra® Roofing System warranty has been considered by many as the “gold Standard” for the roofing industry. Your roof is more exposed to the elements than any other part of the home so the peace of mind that comes with a top of the line product warranty is especially important. Our warranty covers both the roof remaining weatherproof and the tile coating remaining sound.
There are two Warranty zones, depending on how close the roof is to breaking surf (the sea) and this will determine the length of the warranty:
99% of homes are in Zone 1 and benefit from our full 50 year warranty. This means a Genuine Decra® roof in this zone is warranted to remain weather-proof for up to 50 years, while the surface coating is warranted to remain sound for 20 years.
Homes built in a severe marine environment (within 750m of breaking surf) are warranted to remain weather-proof for up to 50 years, while the surface coating is warranted to remain sound for 10 years.
